“We are here to say that there is no such thing as an atheist,” said host Dan McBride.
“The word ‘atheist’ is an insult.”
McBride then brought up how atheists aren’t actually atheists at all, since they’re just people who don’t believe in God, but they can still believe in a belief system called “Atheism.”
The Christian podcast, which was founded in 2011 by Christian musician and evangelist David Barton, is not a show about atheists or Christianity.
It’s more of a commentary on contemporary issues, such as political correctness and social justice, as well as religion, and a discussion of the Christian faith.
McBride also brought up the topic of Christian doctrine, which is generally a little controversial.
“We’re going to look at Christianity, because it’s so deeply embedded in our culture, and to look around the world and see how far it has come, and how far away it is from what was originally thought to be true,” he said.
“And I think that this is a topic we are going to have to explore and talk about.”
The episode aired Wednesday night, with a total of four different episodes in the first two days.
It was the first episode to be available on YouTube, where the episode was titled, “The Christian Podcast Is About Atheism.”
